possible for 19s, but most recommend 17s or 18s.

I can second that -- I made that mistake -- don't think it went down well at all (sorry C! grovel )



As for the 19s, I've used them two winters now. We had some snow here, nothing dramatic, but they still did the job just fine. The rest of the time you get the benefit of having 275s on the rear. Like Andy wrote below, I'm enjoying having the car look great for the 4-5 months of the year where you need the winter set-up. If weather/climate permits, go for it!
