Lots of credit for being motivated to keep the car looking good in the winter. Mine is a filthy mess, hasn't been touched in weeks.

Happy new year to every member!

The weather finally got bit colder (-20C) to keep my ride clean some longer than a day.
Just a quick and light detail this morning and decided to share the result. There are some light swirls right now so I need to polish it soon.
Enjoy!

Really beautiful photos. The black car really "pops" against the glassy white landscape. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful photos.

Those Nokian tires look fierce. Nice wheels too. I guess they are really good when the temperature is -20?.

New York weather is a bit more moderate (we?ve recently had a low of -10 but that was only for two days) so I opted for Blizzak LM-25s but I would definitely go for the Nokians in colder climes.

Are you drifting there ?

Actually we have very, very little snow now. But it stays.
My winter wheels are Nokian Hakkapeliitta 5 studs. 225/50 R17. I think they perform great on snow, ice and asphalt.
They?re bit pricey though, but I like having good winter tyres. I must use them 6 months a year.
And of course they slip a lot when accelerating, because of 500Nm my diesel has

Yeah, photos came out all right with my old pocket sized camera, but right now I'm impatiently waiting for a new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50

I put these pics (and a couple more) in to my gallery: Anzafin's 530D #3
