My Ride: 2004 545i TITANIUM GREY II on Black Dakota Lthr, Comfort Seats, Sports PKG, Premium PKG, Active/Dynamic Drive, NAV, Winter Package.
I have a question regarding snow tires. I have RIMs and snow tires which I used on my 2000 740i, could I use these wheels on the E60? Would they fit?
225/60 R16
Thanks

I think the offset is correct, the diameter of the tires is about 0.5" smaller than the standard 245/40/18s. This makes me think they would be O.K.
HOWEVER, I think you might need 17" wheels to clear the brakes.

Even if your old 16" fit, the ride will be completely different in terms of handling. Since you have the sport package, I'm guessing you have 18" staggered rims for the summer. Dropping down 2 sizes will make a drastic difference in driving. I suggest you sell your old rims & tires and purchase another set with 17" rims. You can find many used sets out there on Kijiji.
Since you are in the GTA, I can give you a contact where you can get BMW replica 17" RIMS with Snow tires for $1200 - brand new.

I believe Bhorne is correct. For your 545i, you should have 17" minimum.
