Wing Mirror Glass Broke!

My Ride: 2004 Euro IV 525d SE. Metallic Titanium Grey, Xenons, Active Sterring, 17inch alloys RFTs.

Just thought I'd share my misfortune this week on my 525d. My wife managed to smash the n/s wing mirror glass (shes not sure how!). My local dealer is quoting ?273 (all in) to supply and fit the replacement chromatic mirror glass. The part comes in at ?243. Am I right to be shocked at this or is this par for the course?
Luckily I found a breaker who is sending me one for ?60 - just need to try and fit it myself which may be interesting!.
Careful with those mirrors out there!
