Windshield wipers are super loud
I have purchased a couple of different sets of wiper blades now because I can't find a set that doesn't make any noise. I've gone from the super expensive Bosch ones to the cheap Goodyear ones and they all are super noisy. Here's what I'm talking about:
I think the noise is caused by the wiper blade shifting its position when it comes up the windshield and then changes position to come back down to the resting position. What can I do to make the noise stop? The wipers in my Toyota Highlander are completely silent.

Let's hear a sound clip of the ones in your Highlander. Yours sound normal to me. The important thing is how well they clear the windshield without smearing or streaking.

Of course, it wasn't raining when you tried the Highlander wipers (it makes a difference) and they were going slower.
We had a torrent of rain in my neck of the woods today and my E60 wipers sounded just like yours (normal in my opinion). I'm guessing that the brand of wiper blade plus the possible greater downward pressure of the BMW wipers might help explain the louder noise.

Your blades sounded quiet to me. It is the force being used that is making the noise (wiper system). If you turn then down it should not make it. I know when I use mine as full speed they knock a little.

I have put up with that for years always cringing every time I had to use the wipers.
Out of desperation, I ordered from ECS Tuning the exact OEM model number. And....
They are perfect! I have 2 E60s, one with some expensive Boshe wipers and one with the OEM model number and there is just no comparison. My wife recently drove the one with the "old" wipers and told me right away to order another set of OEM.

I guess I do not know what the OP is complaining about. I do not hear the wipers making any noise. I hear once the linkage hits the max point it makes a noise. I went to check mine and I do not hear the noise I hear in the video above.
I only buy Trico NeoForm wipers for all of my cars because they are not expensive and they are the same quality as the OEM. I think I get them for $12 a set shipped at Rock Auto. I have been using Trico for about 5 years now and never have been disappointed.
I would say adjust the arm a bit and you will not hear it. Just a thought. I do not know if they can be adjusted but I would try. Or you could have the wipers switched around. Check to make sure the longer wiper is placed on the right.

Hi folks, new here, first post.
I had noisy wipers a couple years ago. It was cured by lubricating the neglected stiff hinges with some WD40. After that they sat properly on the windshield. They also cleaned properly again which was the actual reason for doing it.
