+1 I always put rainX on and it been alright for 2 years, until the rubber start to harden

If you are talking about the wipers hardening, I think that in two years it is due more to the sun than the effect of using rain-x.

your right my car is park outside. Rain x will not make rubber harden, only the uv and sun

The harder it rains the better Rain-X works - driving fast helps too

I would agree with not putting wax on the screen. RainX or similar have good reports, but I think as it wears off, it can cause more vision problems. Good for bikers helmet visors though!

Dont use rain x on visors, I dont think its suitable for polycarbonates
