The washer fluid works like a dream. I usually clean the windscreen 1 a year (or when the blades start to skip), and haven't had any issues.

 

Recently installed the AutoZone Rain-X (Lattitude) style and they work great.

My 06 525xi requires 24" for the drive side and 22" on the passenger.

I paid 21.50 each at AutoZone and both sizes came with the correct clips. They do take a few minutes to install so be patient.

I later found them in my favorite Walmart for 18.00 each. Could have saved a few ducks but now I know.

Looks like Rain-X intentionally manufactured new heavy duty blades for the BMW and Pequot autos. Wiper blades are much bigger and rigid.
