Few dealers do change inhouse.
I had my car in for service so I went with the dealer, 1200 knocked to 999 total installed.
I called insurance company from the SA desk, they would only authorize payment that was cheapest of 3 installers not dealer.
Cheapest quote was 740 but they could not tell me who the installer was. Insurance company promised to send me the quotes in the mail.

Quotes came, the 760 quote was from someone 109 miles away. I blew my top at the insurance person, did me no good.
Took it up with my insurance agent who took it up with corporate.

They eventually paid 965, equal to the installer that was 60 miles from me.

Agree, a lot of these come and install in your driveway

I just had my windshield replace. It's a plexiglass. The company where I got it said Plexiglass is a good material. and I agree to them. As I was using it, I'm very satisfied coz it's very clear. If you wanna know more about the prices and their materials just visit their site. I hope this may help. Have A Great Day!

I must be blind...I didn't see anything about plexiglass mentioned on that link

Is plexiglass even DOT approved for street cars?
