My Ride: 2004 BMW 530I steptronic, Orient Blue, Dakota Black Leather, Finishers Aluminium with Wave Cutting interior, NAVIgation, Radio PROFESSIONAL, CD in-dash, Hi-Fi extended sound system, PDC system, Bi-Xenons lights with washers, cruise-control, heated seats, Extended AC, auto"shade" mirrors, auto lights sensors, rain/wiper sensor, M-tech leather multifunction steering wheel, side airbags rearseats, sliding armrest, smoker's package (I don't smoke!), velour floor mats, spare wheel and jack, 122 style rims winter setup, M135 style rims summer setup

creaking like we all had with the side door seal or high pitch squeak at higher speeds?

Yea, not a rattle, but creaking, I dont think its the door seals because I drove over bumps with my door open and it still creaked.

that is weird because the front winshiled is hard glued all over. that is weird. I don't even think there is much rubber or sealant that could be loose. it is really just glued all over to the car frame.

because they started cost cutting program.......... cheap materials from subcontractors..... :thumbsdown:
I'm in the business, I know how it goes......... BMW, VW, Audi...... all made all across Europe and then only assembled in Germany.... not much is actually produced in Germany.....

I also checked to see if it was the wipers, drove around with them up, still creaking, it sounds like its coming from the front left and right pillars close to the windshield, its driving me nuts. Anyone think that the dealer will be able to fix?

My Ride: F11 520d white, auto, professional sat-nav with internet, variable damper control, sports steering wheel, extended lighting, retractable tow bar, wing mirrors with dimming & folding, full electric seats with memory & lumber adjustment, etc.
Had this issue on a Merc E-Class went into dealer three times and they never cured it, most dealers never resolve rattles or squeaks because most are hard to pin down, turn up the stereo or think about something else to occupy your time or your go mad.

People on the 7 series forums like Bimmerfest are having this problem. My buddy just bought a 750il and his started creaking the dealership replaced the windshield and seals. It fixed the problem for now. Someone else on the 7 series forum figured out how to spray lubricant at the bottom of the windshield for a fix. My windshield is not creaking at the moment and its an 06 550 I hope this thing is not contagious.
