Default Windshield crack

Can Safelite repair these cracks ? is any programming of any sort is required (ex rain sensor) if replaced ?

I am on the fence to replace or just patch if the cost is less than $500. Appreciate your inputs.

Nothing to program, usually rain sensor just gets attached to new windshield, mine was done so by Apple Autoglass, dealer says you need a new sensor....now a year later all is still good.....

That just looks like a replacement to me and not repair.... Ck with your insurance carrier, at least in Fl windshields have no deductible under collision coverage.... If the rubber trim piece across the top of the glass is marginal, have a replacement in hand for the windshield installer.

Anything larger than a dollar bill is not repairable.. which yours looks pretty serious. Just have to make sure the rain sensor is completely on the glass with no bubbles.. you're good to go.

I had mine replaced last January by Safelite. I had no issues. The rain sensor came on the new windshield and as mentioned was plug and play. Some say you may need to get your rain sensor recalibrated. I didn't and have not had an issue.

if you have heads up display, make sure you get the right windshield for that.

Pretty much what it costed me just a caveat though are they replacing it with an OEM BMW or aftermarket?
I went for the aftermarket but was disappointed with the lesser tinting. Next time would pay the extra$$.
