Hello all, I've just installed my M5 Style Front end & oem Mtech side skirts yesterday. Today i washed it up to get all the grease off from the installation, and as i was leaving to get some air in the tires because of the low pressure reading, iv'e notice my wipers were on, I thought it was because my 2 year old nephew was playing in the car with the keys out the ignition while i was cleaning outside, but that didn't seem to be the problem, the wipers were steady, i couldn't turn them off without the keys being out the ignition, then the computer shows Window wipers malfunction! Not to mention the steering wheel being super tight like having low power steering, no power to the door panels, and only rear doors lock/unlock with key. What can be the problem? my nephew messing with buttons in the car? front bumper install causing all these things to malfunction? etc. Please HELP!

Nope, AUTO was turned off and there is an error that reads "Window wipers malfunction" + all the extra stuff that came with it like, Active power steering malfunction, alarm not working, No power to the windows and front door panels. I checked all the fuses, all good, not sure about the relays. I cant seem to figure out what the problem is. Don't know how all this happen at once! Should i get it scanned? Don't mind driving with wipers on tomorrow, but i'm concerned about the tightness in the steering wheel.

The last time this happened to me, the dealer diagnosed it as a defective Micro Power Module. A replacement MPM fixed the problem. I had to pull the wiper motor fuse for the 30-minute drive to the BMW Center (to stop the wiper arms).

lol i was going to do the same thing, but I disconnected the batt for 20 mins, then reconnected it, Everything went back to normal! I thought it was a battery issue, so i took it to get diagnosis at local advance auto. the results came back normal, except when i put loads on the batt like fuel,AC,lights, etc, then it would drop, but not dramatically. I recharged the batt, and the results came back positive for batt, alternator and starter. Im going to the dealer tomorrow for the passenger restraint system failure error, guessing it's the floor mat sensor which should have coverage, I'll mention it then.
