New problem- driver's window goes up half way then back down automatically-displays window trap function warning indicator at every start-up.

Anyone else experience this and what was the fix?

Thanks guys.

Happened once to me. Either turn off the car and let it sit for a while or reboot the the system. Ctrl-Alt-Del. If you have NAV thats Volume and the two ejects simultaneously.

I had it, Joe, and they replaced a part in the passenger window (door). No problems since.

I had it. THey replaced the window winder mechanism inside the door. No problems since (2 weeks) but it was pretty sporadic so don't know when I will be able to say it was cured.

it happened to me too on the passenger rear window. The Idrive showed the malfunctioning of the trap thingy. So I went to the window, clean the window track with my finger and woala...the windows was back to normal and the erro message reset itself h

had the warning for 10 days, auto up did not function, front pass window.
on day 10, the warning goes away and window auto up began to work.

Now that i think of it, i did wash the car just before it happened and the next 10 days it was warm and sunny. Maybe moisture related ?

good luck, mike
