WHAT KIND OF RIMS ARE THOSE IN YOUR SIGNATURE

the first thing i noticed pulling out of the shop was that the interior was quieter. does this make sense? maybe the film absorbs some of the sound waves. lol
Only if the film is made from that new material called, TRANSPARENT ALUMINUM!

Surprising how no one has yet gave a logical explanation. I assume that would only come with experience in window tinting or vinyl wrapping?
OP - Maybe when they tinted they used a specific lubricant or soap based product and it was oversprayed onto your seals or they wiped down your seals after tinting and this made for a less squeaky ride and much quieter. it does make a difference!

well, i had my car for nearly three years before i installed the tint. i tinted the front doors too, and after getting used to my car for so long, i noticed the difference in noise right away...like literally pulling out of the tint shops parking lot. it may not be much, but to me the tint made a difference.

i've taken care of my door seals, so that they never squeek.
i have a good ear when it comes to car noises. i can usually pinpoint where or what a noise is from(from curiousity and working on cars my whole life) and the quietness after getting the tint installed was was obvious to me.

maybe someone could conduct a before and after experiment?? mythbusters?

I don't think it would be worth their while. Anyway, I could call it placebo like everyone else but if you insist that there is a difference then I would have to give a logical explanation and the only one I could think of is above. Does it really matter though? just enjoy the ride. Squeaking will come back soon enough
