window tint = quieter interior?
Surprising how no one has yet gave a logical explanation. I assume that would only come with experience in window tinting or vinyl wrapping?
OP - Maybe when they tinted they used a specific lubricant or soap based product and it was oversprayed onto your seals or they wiped down your seals after tinting and this made for a less squeaky ride and much quieter. it does make a difference!

i've taken care of my door seals, so that they never squeek.
i have a good ear when it comes to car noises. i can usually pinpoint where or what a noise is from(from curiousity and working on cars my whole life) and the quietness after getting the tint installed was was obvious to me.
maybe someone could conduct a before and after experiment?? mythbusters?
well, i had my car for nearly three years before i installed the tint. i tinted the front doors too, and after getting used to my car for so long, i noticed the difference in noise right away...like literally pulling out of the tint shops parking lot. it may not be much, but to me the tint made a difference.

To quiet the car you need to add sound deadening material!

does this make sense? maybe the film absorbs some of the sound waves. lol
