Have noticed since I had my new screen fitted a bit of wind noise 70mph + coming from the front of the car ,not sure if it was there before I had a new screen or not. It's not obtrusive and dosen't really get any worse as you go faster, but obviously slightly worse when it's windy outside. Just wondered if any one else had noticed this, maybe it's because the rest of the car is so quiet and I'm now listening for noises after the work has been done. Screen was fitted by a BMW main dealer.
Had noticed that the wipers sit a little lower than the BMW TIS manual say's they should, could this cause it, although looking round all e-60's wipers seem to be set at different heights, maybe a connection???
Thanks
Adam

Had a similar problem with an incorrectly fitted windscreen on an E39. It would "whistle" softly in certain conditions of speed and exterior temperature. Never quite worked out why it did it - I assume the sealant bead was not completely continuous - but it disappeared when the glass got changed again.
