Thanks for your comment Mr Presley.

If you have a problem with a light hearted, encouragingly meant comment to get the upgrade, you seem to be wanting and toying with for a long time, than sorry.

Your pm only asked who it was directed at and not how it was meant. If you do your research so properly, it wouldn't have hurt to also do it in this case.

If that's the way you want to interprete a tongue in cheek comment, feel free to do so.

You also enjoy your day and your new rims.

Before I forget, to add to your research, yes they will fit, but will change the rolling radius and rolling circumference of your wheel by around 4,5%, which is quite a lot. (compared to the 18" with 245/40)

You should take that into consideration when passing speed cameras or get the speedo recalibrated.
(doing 70 on the clock, means you're doing just over 73 really.

Hi, I just did the 19" M5 (#166) wheel purchase last week as well. I went with the 275s rather than the 285s because the tire that I wanted (which was the most reasonably priced but good tire) did not come in the larger size.

I bought the replica 19" staggered set from Lakeshore Tire and Wheel. I was just told that I should have the set by Tuesday of next week. Very excited.

I used General Exclaim tires, which are very inexpensive, but rated very well. $150/tire rear and $124/tire front. At tire rack. This is great in my opinion compared to the $250+ price for many other brands. The General Exclaim 18" tires are $106/tire.

Lakeshore is doing the whole package which includes shipping, mounting, balancing (I assume stems, etc) for $1596. The Wheels were $850, which means that I was paying around $100 for shipping and $100 for mounting and balancing (and some extra thrown in for other things I am sure).

I will report on the quality and service when the tires arrive.
