Plus diesel engines are supposed to have a lower maintenance cost and last longer than gasoline engines.
Unless the turbo(s) fail (and they do) in which case you are looking at major mazuma out of warranty...

The only thing I disliked about the 335 when I test drove it, was the fact that you couldnt hear the turbos. Some people might like it that way. I also dont think I would order a 535 based on driving the 335, I would have to drive the 535. When I test drove a 330 and 530, I saw a big difference, the same engine, but it felt much better in the 3.

Looks like it will fit without any troubles...
I though the LCI fogs were different.

I really need to know this, too! I'm looking to buy current M-aerodynamic kit to my upcoming LCI 525d. So if anyone knows if the current kit will fit to my new car, or if I need any additional parts, let me know, thanks.

but.... Fuel consumption is worse and CO2 emissions higher...
and we all have a responsibility towards the(our) environment, right?
-- [I am not trying to be funny]

Bearing this in mind, in a few years perhaps the residual value of the smaller engine will be higher...
It's like that in Europe today and maybe the tide will change in the US as well...
the emission on a 3.0 twin turbo isn't any better then a 5.0 engine. I think they are close...

secondly, the temptation to keep both turbos kick-in at all times... imagine that? use more gas, perhaps?

for the fitment info Bmw parts dont know if they are going to be compatible or not
we'd need to wait for the car to come out first.

I am guessing there would be new revised Mkits for Facelifts 2008 cars?

just get the chance to run the uk coloriser for the revised e60...the m aero looks quite different in the photo. i dont know if its just the quality of the photo, the front spoiler looks flat compare to the current one.

If you plan on getting the 550 with sport package the aero kit is included.
Is it really? I didn't know this... but I haven't really kept up with the facelift news.
