My Ride: 2006 525i, Premium,Cold,Xenon Packages

I have 2006 525i and I get 28+ MPG daily commute to work (8-10miles local road and 20 miles highway)

So what's that per tankful since gallons are different.

Intersting, I get 23MPG if I drive nicely and 21MPG if I push it which is the case most of the time.

I drive 50/50 and do hit a lot of stop and go getting in and out of New York City.

My Ride: 2005 545i Titanium Silver Metallic / Gray / Steptronic / Sport Package w/ active steering, adaptive xenons, sport seats, 18" style 124 wheels / Logic 7 sound / PDC / Bluetooth / iPod Integration

I'm only getting 16 MPG with 70% local / 30% highway. I have tried very hard to keep my foot out of it, but that only got me up to 16 MPG. Is there any hope to bump this up to 18 MPG?
