I've got a 530xi on order with HUD and of course the standard rain sensing wipers.....another vehicle that I own has rain sensing wipers. The windshield of this vehicle an (Olds Aurora) interfers with my EZ-Pass transponder.

I went to the EZ-Pass website and found no info on the BMW 530s. Anyone have EZ-Pass, HUD, and rains sensors?

Welcome to the forums waiting...

EZ-Pass will work with your car. The rain sensor on our cars, by the way, would not be the cause of any interference issues.

I can give another testimonial that HUD windshields work OK with toll tags.

I agree, EZ pass does work with HUD and rain sensor
In fact, i mounted the device behind the rear view mirror right next to the sensor and have had no problems.

Haven't had any problems as well with FASTLane (Massachusetts). I don't even have my transponder stuck to my winshield... I just hold it next to the steering wheel

I called EZ-Pass and told them what make and model car I had with rain sensor (2001 BMW 330ci) and they sent me a Transponder that fits by the front licences
plate. Now I use the same Transponder on my 2005 530i.I didn't want that ugly white thing sticking on my wind shield.
cheers

Yup, thats the best bet....IMHO that looks better too to have the EZ pass on the front license plate.
