Ok so fwe picked up the new one.....

After the total loss of the Black 525i we upgraded to

2004 530i
Titanium Gray/black
Premium/Xenon/Nav/Auto Sun Shades

What I Paid - 500 Over Invoice and no destination charge

What I wanted but did not get and why

Sport Package - Wife did not like the road noise on the 18's (as she will use it as a daily driver) (she also felt the steering was too responsive - I loved it)

Park Distance Control (the car which had it also had sport, logic 7 so no go)

Hud (one in stock 525i had it but we wanted the 530 this time)

The color - I wanted Silver Grey bit she liked titaniun grey - now that I have it t home...it a a good color....had to get black int as have two kids and grey would have been destroyed....

The difference between my 04 525 and 530

I like the additional Torque, the 17's, and the wood accents in the interior and the leather.

What is wrong with the car - time is blank - have to set it up...The Traffic Update does not work - any ideas why ......

What I got additionally from the dealer. Free installation of my phone bracket which I took out of my 525i....

This car hd arrived from Germany on Thursday so the dealer claims it has the latest version of the I-drive,,,I have to check...but first have to learn how to set the time

Did look at the 545i.....awesome car....but wife would not let me spen the money...will post pictures tonite

Look for DST embossed in pretty large letters on the outside.

bimmer,

Can you post a picture or two of your car? Want to see the wheels

And was there a big difference in noise with the 18 vs the one you have now?

thanks!
