Ash, post your location, maybe a member in your area can recommend a tire/wheel place for you...

245's will go on 8 to 9.5" rim
275's on 9 to 10.5" rim
So as long as the rim's are 9" or 9.5" then you're fine...

Just measured the tyres going from the inside rim edge , through the tyre , and to the outside rim edge. Approx 293mm. I know this isn't the right way to measure them, but can anyone hazard a guess at what "J" rim size value this might be ???

Just read your post ...... Being 19" i'm hopefully ok !!!!!!!!
Look at page 2 here: TyreBible
You can't measure it yourself with the tyres on!
Some alloys have the measurement on the inside or under the centre cap...

The hub diameter has nothing to do with it's width!

SH*T ...... Car shakes abit at high speeds. The place I bought em from assured me that if they were not ok, they would sort out whatever problem there was. Going to be away from home next week for a bit, So the only chance that I will have is next weekend.
Should have waited and listened to all your replies before buying them.

Just did a trip to manchester and back. Car seems alot more uneconomical. Someone mentioned that if you put larger alloys on then that will cause alot more fuel consumption.
Is that right ???
Also the tyre place put 30psi on all 4 tyres. I think this might also add to the increase in fuel consumption. Gonna put 32psi in the front and 36psi in the rear tyres tomorrow.
245/35/19 + 275/30/19
Is this a good tyre pressure ???
Tyres are Nankang NS2's.
Thanks.
