Leaning towards 18" staggered at this point, but I like the look of the 135's but BMW do not have them listed as staggered on their site and also the ones off ebay do not. I've searched the net and haven't found anyone else.

Does anyone know if the 135's come staggered in the uk ?

Grabs the road better, but more importantly, it LOOKS better from the rear. Throw in some rear spacers and it looks like it should.

my queston is do i get rim size 19" x 8.5" in the front and 19" x 9.5" in the rear or the same size front and rear?

thank you for any help you give.

ok .... 18" are prob going to be better then ..... Now ..... Same size or to stagger ????? Anyone ?

I like the staggerd look just like the Sport option comes with AND, if you are looking at picking up someones 18" take offs, chances is they will be staggered already! The look is worth it and since they use a diff size (front to rear) the sidewall is not any shorter so the comfort would be the same (between staggered and non-staggered 18" wheels). The only downfall is that you will not be able to rotate your tires from front to back. Go for it the look is well worth not being able to rotate!!

135s are definitely not staggered.

The staggard setup are on the M's and sport packages of the higher powered cars. They work better at handling the higher torque loads. The wider tire also has an advantage in handling because it alters the contact patch to be more circular "O" than oval "0" which gives a wider lateral contact patch.
I would get the staggard setup.

172's are the 'official' 19" wheels for the (non-M5) E60. They came from the factory without runflats and are probably the best compromise of handling, looks and ride...

They've been around a while but they still look good IMHO! You should be able to see a few on the road...

I'd prefer putting something newer on in that case, something like the 135's (noticed their also called 166's), but staggered.

Any suggestions lads ?
