IMO thats no different than people adding the M front and rear bumpers, quad exhausts, however, it doesn't bother me.

But, If I ever saw a non M car with a M5 badge, I'm not going to go out of my way to take a picture and post it on a forum to make fun of some random person either.

Theres a different from having M parts on your car and claiming a non-M car is a M5.

 

I realize that, but to someone who is fairly familar with the BMW line when they see a 5 series with the M5 body kit from a distance and quad exhaust, it will look exactly like an M5.
But anyway I'm not going to argue this is how I feel and others have different opinions
