Why we love our 5
I am a first time BMW owner (bought in January.) I loved the e60 even before I thought about buying one. A little while before my car was totaled, hence the need for a new car, I rated the models in the following order: 5, 3, X5, 6, then 7. Once I had to look for another car, I was so happy to have the opportunity to buy a 5. I still look at it when approaching it or leaving it and think, what a nice looking car. It is truely one of the nicest car design ever in my opinion. I just hope they don't screw it up too bad with the F10.

I think the E60 is the best looking BMW ever made.
Maybe that's a bold statement, but older BMWs are mostly square boxes. Of course, the E46 coupe ranks very high there...

Agree...E60 rocks...I like the view from the ass with the wide low profile tires.

i was not a fan of the front but it has grown on me and i like the front as well too... but lci rear with wide tires is very sexy indeed.

This morning when i was getting into my E90 3 series, I just glanced on my Sport 5. It just looks like a pure race inspired sedan. The wheels, the low profile tires (factory though), side fenders, rear lights just all said one thing "I am very capable".
While the garage door closed, i looked at the reptalian eye lids and they just absolutely looked monstrous.
Just wanted to share my thoughts.
