Why isnt my car sleeping????
I went to the dealer to get my brakes done and i also discovered they charged the battery due to some low wattage faults. Now my car battery is constantly dying. And i noticed the car isnt falling asleep because the little indicator on the shifter is still on after 30 or so mins. Could it be that the battery istn connected correctly. Any suggestions?

There could be a ton of reasons why the car isn't sleeping -- all it takes is one module to stay awake and the car will not sleep.
The dealer should be able to grab any fault codes that are logged to help determine what module may be keeping the car awake. On my car, they determined it was a faulty shift lever that was keeping the car awake (randomly.) I thought it would be very difficult to track down the fault but we got lucky and they figured it out the first time I took the car in.
After many months of trouble-free sleeping, I'm now seeing the car stay awake only if I walk up to it and get something out of the trunk while that car was asleep. In other words, my car will be locked and sleeping and, using CA, I'll walk up to the car and open the trunk. I'll get what I need and close the trunk lid. Later, when I return to the car, I'll see the increased battery discharge warning and the clock will need resetting (the date too if I return to the car a day or more later...)
