Love to know that info too as I am about to sign up. Promiss won't tell my dealer where I get the info!
Seriously though.. I have been quoted $830pm for a 65K car over 36 months at 12K per year. I am paying approx 2k to cover the randon stuff plus a little cap reduction.
Thanks

I don't know your locale's sales tax and such but I think you can score a somewhat better deal, like same monthly but no cap cost reduction. Is that 65k the MSRP? If so you can definitely do better.
Pardon my butting in but since you mentioned numbers...
The 0 - 60 MPH difference between manual and steptronic for a 545i is 0.1 sec. (5.7 vs. 5.8). If the difference between a 750i and 745i is also 0.1 sec., it seems to me that a 550i manual being 1.0 sec. faster than a 545i steptronic is not realistic. More like 0.2 sec.
Hmmm, even though I am far from a technical expert, I would say your one second difference estimate is way off. I suspect two or three tenths of a second difference. (btw, you should compare apples to apples; that is, steptronic to steptronic, etc.)
I drive an M3 convertible now, and I am very happy with the 545 engine. I am getting a good deal, and I generally keep my cars 2 years, maybe 3. So in a year or two if I get restless, then I'll upgrade. For now, I am psyched about "settling" for the 545.
Bee, thanks for the good words, I just locked in today; I'm set. Thanks for your help.
Regarding my deal: No special connections, just an excellent salesperson (fleet manager, top ten salesperson in the country, 20 years experience) who I buy cars from frequently (4 cars in the last 5 years). Right now, the lease rates are great, and he is giving me a very aggressive ED price. We know each other well, so there is no game playing, everything is upfront and easy; he gives me a very good deal, and he knows I am not going to try to hammer him for every last penny, or call around to ten dealers to beat his price by $5 per month.
Thanks for the replies.

I feel that the difference in power between 545i and 550i can definitely be felt. However, I am really happy with the 4.4 right now, so I really don't crave for the bigger motor that much. Now, I always think the 3.0 could use more power, so if a 530 is what I really want, then I would definitely wait for the new engine. Even if it is a year or 2 away.
