Why don't we have dual exhausts?

Or whatever it is the 335 has, one exhaust tip on each side, on our 535s? If not the 535, atleast the 550 should.

I never understood why all e60's don't have quads. For example Nissan maxima has quads and thats a 6 cylinder. All e60's should have quads or even dual.

Maybe BMW tried to do quad/dual, and saw a loss in hp.
Im sure they have their reasons.

probably because it looks dumb with a stock e60 non mtech bumper

A BMW marketing decision? Could a dual exhaust push the price up on a 535i beyond that of a 550i, a car with better performance? Hmmmnnnn.

I think we do have dual exhaust, it just isn't set up on either side like other cars are. Ours is just side by side together on the left.

I've always wondered why they didn't do it like the 335's either..

Well, I was talking about the entire 5er range. Give it to the 550's, I don't care, but even that $70K car doesn't have it.

I honestly don't like the look of the 335 exhaust, but it would be easier for people to install quad TIPS....
