I wish I never started this thread...so many haters...hahaha

I also can't stand the emblem, kidney grills, doors, hood, trunk...hahahaha

Guys, I am just joking, except for the Mats. They really do move all over more so up the gas pedal. That's a pain. Deforms the mat too.
It's possible that either your discs were removed and never replaced or you don't have original mats. You can get the discs very cheaply (less than $5.00) at your dealer's parts counter. They're very easy to install because I did it on my old E36, and believe me, if I can do it, an 18 month toddler can probably do it.

Maybe his mats have the velcro but the plastic discs aren't installed in his car?
That's gotta be it. Even my e46 had the velcro disks for the carpet mats and little plastic hooks for the all season ones, just like my e60. AFAIK, this has been standard on BMW's North American cars for at least a decade or so.

I agree -- not only have they used these types of things on the carpeted mats for years, on the rubberized winter mats, they include a replacement hook for the disc that securely locks the heavier rubber mats from moving...

Cheap cars have the following:
*Like floor mats that snap or hook into the car
*Compass rearview mirror (standard)
You know, I hope they make them even cheaper and get rid of the cupholders.
