Why do MUSTANG drivers go CRAZY when they see a 5-series?

So true....I had a cobra prior to my E60 but still set on the "terminator". All muscle and no finess. It's the "50" that mustangs want to see that could be comparable to them in the V8 world.

In my city, about 8 out of 10 mustangs are driven by women!
Almost guranteed... I see a mustang near by, bet myself it is a woman - almost always correct! Doesn't even matter what year.
However.... if I can tell it is a V8 I don't make the bet
I wanted a Mustang for a long time until I noticed this! Glad I settled for a matching pair of E60s.

We do not see many Mustangs over here in the UK.
However, it is usually Audi drivers in their 1.8T or 2.0TDI A4's or A6's that normally go crazy when they see the blue and white badge. But as BMW drivers, what we fail to realise is that these 'rep-mobile' Audi drivers are in fact driving V10 R8's disguised as humble 4 pot A4's and A6's! But for some reason when one is right up your trumpet and you put your box into sport-mode and kick back a few gears for some reason they disappear in the rear view mirror! Like magic.
Apologies for the dry humour to the folks across the pond and to our continental neighbors!

The 11 Gt 5.0 will run circles around any e60 short of an m5. In corners or straight lines. IMO they look pretty good too. I used to be a mustang maniac, Ive had 8 over the years. Fun and cheap, emphasis on cheap lol. I always knew the older I got Id end up in bmw though.
