Why are BMW drivers hated?

That was too many pages ago.. Can we get a refresher on what your point was?
Sorry I didn't answer sooner, have been out sick the last few days. Here's my original post:
This thread is very interesting:
As E60 owner/operators we really do "own the road" and everyone knows it! We simply drive at the car's optimum potential and they're all jealous of that.
As for he 3er's, they really do need to keep themselves "in-check" as they out-number us, by far, and are probably the ones that keeps this stereo-type alive.
Personally, I'm a very conservative driver and only "push it" when the conditions are right - otherwise I "share" the road with everyone else, of course, out of curtosy. :-))
Please, don't take me too seriously here, I'm just having fun with this thread!!

Must be a monster! By any chance have you ran against an M5 or M6?
It is, and I haven't. There's an Interlagos Blue M5 around here, the only one that I know of. I see him once in a while, but he doesn't like to play.
Yesterday I had the car out (it was almost 60* here), and I saw my first M6, a black convertible. Traffic was very heavy though, and it was only a block from the local BMW dealer (heading towards the dealer), so I think it might've been a test drive. Couldn't make out the plate (dealer or not).
tex_phil - Thank you! It was a lot of time and effort, but it's worth it. Still needs a few things though (I want a different hood and front end, and it needs a brake upgrade BAD, and the clutch is shot (still factory clutch)). But, it took first place in the Custom Convertible category at it's "coming out" party, an indoor ISCA-sanctioned show here in Buffalo.

A - he'd whoop my ass (and judging by your mod list, so would you).
B - If I go to that event (and I might), I'd take my 545, not the 'stang. LOL It is an e60 meet, yes?
