I use my car as DD and do not pay special attention to the weather. It is just a car, nice but still a car. ...
Funny you should say that. This is the most expensive car I've ever owned (and probably ever will own), and this is the first time I've really taken that attitude about one of my cars. It's a very nice and expensive car, but a car nonetheless. I drive the crap out of it. I don't think I drove my Mustang GT as hard!

I was nervous getting the Light Seaspang Brozne, having young kids, but it is fine, no issues keeping it up.
My recommendation is to get a set of the black (non-rubber floor mats) to save the work of cleaning the carpets. They look and feel so much better than the all weather mats.

My wife has 328xi in saphirre black with cream beige int. Not a problem. The Dakota leather weathers fine, unlike leather int in lexus and infiniti. I have 528xi 2008 with saphirre black and natural brown with anthracite headliner Awesome combo. I think using black mats is the way to go. When I had a 740iL in dark blue with beige int. I changed to navy blue mats. Hides dirt great contrast

No problems after 10 months, but I went immediately to black mats. Also, I have no young children.

I just ordered my 535i Sport with Platinum Gray exterior and the Cream Beige interior. Like everyone else on this post, I love the contrast between the beige and the black dashboard/steering wheel. After owning a Silver Gray 530i with a black interior for 4 years now, I have to say that the cream beige makes for a much more interesting and appealing collection of colors, especially at night with the orange glow throughout the cabin.

The only concern I have about my "upcoming ride" is the floor mats. Does anyone know if BMW will let me take black mats instead of the beige? I'm just wondering if that will save me time, effort in the long run, and not have to default to getting a second set of black rubber mats.

Thanks.

pr - I should have done this but didn't know you could...call your dealer and have them order or repalce the beige mats with black ones.

For $50 I simply bought the all weather rubber BMW mats - and placed them over the regular mats - If I have company and the weather is good - I take the black mats out and my beige mats are right there in perfect condition.

Love the cream beige...looks like the most luxurious of all the colors (IMO)!!!! Will definately consider it on my next one. Also like that FOX RED available in the new M3s.
