Who has M6 166 rims?

My Ride: 2005 545i, sport, nav, cold pakge, stereo, 3.45 rear, CAI, throttle bodies, software, DINAN badge, 166 wheels w/dark grey powdercoat (always look clean!).
i put the 285's on and they rubbed like crazy...drove back and put 275's on and they OCCASIONALLY still rub but no big deal. PS2's on 166's on 545iS...

I'll let you know in a couple hours. My wife's '06 530I without sport package is in the shop having 245/35R19's on the front and 285/30ZR19 on the rear put on OEM 166 rims. After much searching on this forum, it appears this is a good set up for the car. I ran it for a week with the large OEM M5 wheels on it. What a mess. A lot of rubbing and it messed up the DTC.

Finally, I installed my M166 wheels with M6 offset , ET17 in the back. Tyres sizes are 245/35/19 in the front and 275/30/19 in the back.
So for ones who don't know 166M and also 167M rear rims exist in two variants ET28 and ET17
