My Ride: 2007 Titanium Gray 550i, with sport, nav, HUD, Logic7, sat radio, cold weather, rear side airbags, rear seat heaters, and it goes like a bat outta hell!

I'm hoping that mine spontaneously combusts at 49,000 miles which, if you think about it, wouldn't be all that bizarre or unlikely on a 2004 model.

Wait, I'm pretty sure on the '04s spontaneous combustion was an option?? And, you need the upgraded CIP version that doesn't allow SC while passengers are sitting in the seats.......

The early build E60s certainly had their share of trouble......I had a relatively simple 04 530...in that there was no nav, sport, logic7......and I actually had very few problems, aside from the 4 sets of cup holders!!

So far, I am very happy with my 07.......so hopefully things have been moving in the right direction. In which case......not necessarily stupid to buy another one
