who actually think style 122 rims are best looking for E60?

I like the 122's much better than the 129's. For standard 17" wheels that came with the car, I prefer the 138's over both.

Yes similar to the 122's but the spokes are more triangular and curved so IMO it gives it a bit more style. If you haven't browsed the information section of this site (different area than the forums), it has excellent pics of most of the standard OEM wheels.

I agree that many cars owners (not so much E60 owners) take the rim size and low profile to the extreme. I think there is a fine balance depending on the car. But IMO, a clear indication of going to far over the edge is when you start sacraficing ride quality and performance for supersized rims and '0' profile tires.

I actually thought I was getting 245s all round and only reaslised yesterday they had 275s on the rear
I didn't even know 275 winter tyres existed!! I really do hope it doesn't snow, not to sure how the 275s would perform in those conditions
