My Ride: my ride 04 530d ,m5 body kit,19"m5 spider rims,,
hi guys and girls newby here,,have a 04 530d christmas eve bringing to get cleanned when it start blowing white smoke and funny noise comming from under hud,,help needed please cheers

Major diesel engine failure
Cleaning the intake manifold in a diesel engine
Major Engine Problem : Anti Swirl / Butterfly flaps in air manifold
530d - Broken Swirl Flap = Broken Engine, Diesel engine failure
However, it can be anything... I hope you get it fixed.

My Ride: '04 530d Executive, all options except sunroof and comfort seats
ECU remapped by ZipTuning to 260+bhp.
Isn't it just the auxilary heater? It comes on when it's cold outside and produces white smoke and noise.
I have it too and you can hear it purring away even when you've switched the engine off and get out of the car. (It stops after a couple of minutes)
