Sunoco offers 94 octane. I used to fill up there when I had my STI, out of my own pocket even though we had company gas cards at Petro Canada and Esso.

I found this chart on the Petro-Canada website..

Grade
Octane Level
Petro-Canada Brand Name

Regular
87 octane
RegularClean

Mid-grade
89 octane
PlusClean

Premium
91 octane
SuperClean*

Super premium
94 octane

SuperClean 94, available in Montr?al, Vancouver and Victoria

I believe they offer 93 in Ontario, which I always get!

Near Vancouver....id say I need it for half of the year for the rain and snow
To answer Ricracing's question. I live in a mountainous suburb of Vancouver and have a 535i with snow tires from mid-Nov. to mid-Mar. You really don't need an Xi, just need to know how to drive. That being said, the manufacturers and dealers have done an excellent job of getting people to pay extra for options that they don't really need. I remember last year when I drove the 535i up a local mountain during a blizzard the road check allowed us through no questions asked but all of the four wheel drives were being turned back because of the problems people have thinking that their 4 wheel drive will help them in the snow when they have all season tires. Tires are waaaay more important to safety then the number of wheels that motivate your car.
