I finally opened up my car last week! This car pulls like a banshee!!!! At 130 mph it was still pulling hard, but at 130 something started whistling very loud? I kept it going till I hit 140mph!!!! What a car!!!! My car is all stock except B&B exhaust and 20" wheels and tires.

Yes yes yes, I have the very very high sound while driving over 120mph (180km/h up). The dealer has no clue. I believe the front window (winshield) will have to be resealed.

However I do not like that solution, imagine all the stuff they have to take apart -reassemble, remove...... I'm afraid this will do more bad then good. :'(

I have had done winshield replacement to VW Touareg and they have put dirty finger prints all over the inner textile around the winshiled, whipers are in a different angle, plastic cover around all not tight to the car as before..... up to 3rd time they finally made me happy.

Also does it still take overnight service to replace winshiled to our E60s?

Anybody????

As answered in my PM:

It needs over night and is a known problem which can easily be solved.

Here is a more recent thread with links to another thread with videos of the noise.

I had the same problem. Iceman is correct regarding the solution.
