My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
There are two inside air microfilters in a E60.
Open the hood and you can easily see them (or the boxes where they are in) in front of the windscreen.

Are the filters both the same shape?
I suppose the Realoem BMW will give you the right part numbers as well,
part number 6.
