where does the water from the AC go?

If your past experience tells you that there "should" be water under the car from the AC, and now there's NOT....yeah...I think it is something at least look into. It could be a clogged drain somewhere, and/or the water could be draining somewhere that it shouldn't. When you begin to smell, see or feel this "misplaced" water definitley is not the time to START looking into it.

I think the water is being "collected" by the underbody cover/panel. It has holes in it and will allow the water to drain if it get s too full. In fact...now that I think about it...I just removed that front underbody panel a few days ago, and remember a small bit of water being there...and I had been running the AC.

Yes, I think and hope you're right. When the rains stops up herein the northeast, I'll get under the car after the AC's been on for a while and try to figure it out.
