Where can I find the 550 owners manual online?
Hi guys, I cant believe it but I finally found a fully loaded 550 with all options possible. I will pick it up on Saturday in California. I live in Las Vegas. I get to drive my baby home Yahoo!!! I have been reading on this forum for over a year and was worried about quality issues but one test drive in the M5 first then the 550 sold me. I think most of the 550 owners are not having as many issues as the 545 owners once had knock on wood.
I wanted to read the owners manual and get used to I drive before I pick her up so I can be used to the controls when I drive it.
Specs on the car are.
Silver grey/black
sport pack
Premim sound
cold pack
auto tran
active steering
comfort seats
comfort access
rear sunshade
rear electric sunshade
fold down rear seats
naviagtion
HUD
satellite radio
I cant wait to contribute to the forums, you guys/gals seem to be a great helping community. Yes I will be posting pics soon. And adding a M aerokit.

Check out the Information section on the E60 Information Network home page (click on the header on top of this web page). There is a 2006 U.S. Owner's Manual in pdf format ... not for the 550, but close enough for now.
Congrats on getting a 550 - it's an amazing machine.

The ONE CAUTION I have for you is the Active Steering in town. Be very careful of cutting corners too close, especially if you are pulling to the right of traffic to take a right on red, tight around a corner. The last thing you want to hear is the crunching of a rear wheel/tire against that curb.
Otherwise, enjoy it.

For me the active steering came natural, It didnt take me more than a couple of small turns to get used to it and think it is great. Aside from a rattle or two, I havent had any issues with my car. You will love this car. Did I understand corectly thst you also test drove the M5, if so how did the 550 compare. GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN!!!
