[/quote]Hi Dinan. Nah, I'm with an advertising company in Wacker Drive. I just enjoy checking out restaurants and dining establishments in general, normally downtown and near north area (although I've driven to Wheeling and Highwood to check out the restaurant row).

If someone wants to recommend a restaurant in Chicago I'll keep it in mind.
Arriving next Monday. Not sure what my exact plans are other than after picking up a car, head north thru Wisconsin (and miss the tornados) as far as Lake Superior.
Then depending on progress, hook around to the Canadian border and then see what time I have left. I'm only going for 14 days. I don't mind driving but I don't want to drive all day every day.
Re US-Canadian border, does anyone know if it is in anyway difficult to get across?
It'll probably be at International Falls-Fort Frances if we make it that far.
Short of getting satnav, I'm wondering if Jenny could act as a guide?
