Did you consider doing a European Delivery? I saved over 10K off of sticker doing ED last June on a 550. At Knauz.

About your Euro Delivery, what did you pay( Euro factory invoice + $ ?) OR (Euro MSRP $ - $10,000/-?)
Which price did you take : US- invoice/MSRP OR Euro MSRP/Invoice?
Did you also use 1000/- savings being a BMW member?
If you do not mind Name of the person at Knauz, PLEASE, Thanks

Negotiate over ED Invoice. A year ago $1,500 over ED invoice in our area was good on a 550i.
Not ED MSRP or regular invoice.
David Bench. Pronounced BANK.
By the way. The collective group here can give you all you need to know about ED.
Its a pain waiting for the car but its worth it with the savings. Look in the info area on this site for the difference between ed invoice and US invoice prices. You can get a RT ticket to Munich for about $800 worst case.

After negotiating down from the ED MSRP, I got about an $8K discount compared to US MSRP. The BMWCCA discount will give me a further $1K. Plenty of savings for a weekend romp on the German autobahnen!
You should be working from ED Invoice. Not ED MSRP. Those prices are listed in the info section here.

Nice to know the types of deals. One will definetely save thousands if he/she negotiates on ED invoice + $.
I compared ED invoice + $ and US-MSRP, BIG difference, surprised.

Yes its a big difference. But the ED experience can be a plus too if you want to tour Europe with your new car. I had been to Eurpoe several times for business so i was going to do a one day turnaround and drop off the car. It would have taken an estimated 6 more weeks thru ED so you have to be willing to put up with the additional wait.
As it turned out in my situation last May/June the Nightvision I ordered which was a new option at the time, was delayed near my scheduled ED pickup date of May 8th, so BMWNA direct shipped my car to Knauz and I received the ED pricing anyway. So it worked out well.
An ED car doesn't come out of the Dealers allotment so they get the upcharge plus the service revenue for the down the line service you bring them. It doesn't affect the profit they would lose from selling that car to another customer.
