btw. Anyone knows what '544 Cruise Control with Breaking function' is? It's not the 'Active Cruise Control'.
"CC w Breaking function" means that it will actively break the car, if needed, to maintain the speed set in CC. Normally, the car would only rely on the engine slowing the car down when you go downhill. Now the car will actually apply the breaks.

I think that "Active CC" only applies to auto gearboxes and is even more "intelligent". "Breaking function" will apply to both manual and auto GB.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

The new standard cruise now brakes the car going downhill to keep you at the correct speed. This is new to the E60 but the E90 (6-cyl) have had it for quite some time. It applies to manual and auto models.

Active cruise refers to the one with the 'radar' which maintains a set distance between you and the car in front etc. The new feature for active cruise in the LCI is the addition of a start/stop mode which wasn't possible previously.

You can read up on this in the worldcarfans article on the facelift (I think)

Well, I should be lucky then. I got almost exactly 70% of the list price for my E91 325i-05, with only 19000 kms on the tacho... But the 3-series have always been strong in sales, and my dealer said he already had clients interested in my car.

Also, a dealer told me that in Sweden we get the catalogues in mid Feb.

GOOD NEWS!
That means that we, who have already ordered LCI verions, might be able to make late changes.

First in, first out.

It will be interesting to hear what BMW Nordic will decide...
But both cruise and full auto AC must be standard!

Ok, to be honest I told him I wanted it in June. He said that would be perfect if I ordered in the coming weeks.

You do know that most dealers will tell you whatever they think you want to hear...
Most of all they want you to commit to the order with them but this doesn't mean they will place the order with BMW straight away. Usually they don't pick too early a production slot as they don't want the car sitting in their dealership for too long either.

I was told that the wait for a diesel engine is minimum 12 weeks. The delivery time for petrol engines are a little less. I will place my order for a 520dT in the end of Feb and can expect a delivery in late May or early June.
