For those of you who have winter / snow tires installed, when do you plan to swap them? I can't wait to put on my summer shoes and store my practical, safe, but not so enjoyable winter setup.
My dealership said they had their 1st customer yesterday who swapped their winter tires. It's been much warmer weather these days, but I heard that summer tires should not be exposed to temperatures under 5C (41F). When are you planning on swapping your rims / tires?

Tax day for me
As upside down as the weather has been I'd check the National Weather Monthly Forecast for predicted temperatures and when it looks like they will be consistently above 40 degrees, make the switch. That way even if it does snow it won't stay around long.
And for summer tires, it's cold temps that make the rubber less flexible.

My Ride: 08 550 Carbon Sport Almost everything factory, but no sound upgrades.
When they go flat.
When they wear out.
When the snow is gone for good.
When you install new rims.

I swapped mine last week.... but it was a bad decision I made because the last days snowed again... but the car can be driven with extra precaution and I had no problem until now. so I should have to wait at least 2 more weeks....
Oh well... I love the wider summer tires...
