But please note this is for the pre-LCI models.

The dealers must now the part numbers for the both pre-LCI and LCI lid.

Seems be to attached both with two bolts and some glue.

The windscreen, the front chassi (partly) and the enblem amost others are also glued...

I will check with the local BMW dealer to see if it fits or not (unless they wont throw me out from the new cars lot while doing it )

I also need one member to confirm the 2004-07 M technic kit fits properly to 2008 LCI

Get the spoiler instead! It's in the 5 Series Accessory Catalogue, part number 51 71 0148 785 (pre-LCI). It's glued to the trunklid, no screws. Looks way cooler.

So can anyone confirm if the trunk lid finisher fits LCI models? I really need to know this since I'm about to order the part.

I can't confirm it but from the realoem parts diagram, it does look like it just might work...
