When you upsize wheels, the gap between the tires and fenders become more prominent eventhough the same rolling diameter remains the same. Visual illusion.

What model E60 do you have Yoko? His should be the standard sport height, since he has the sport pack.

Thx Though.

Mine is 525i with 134 on it. maybe its only because the picture is taken so close with the object, so it seems a little bit higher than I thought.
Thx Though.

I'm in California. I want a 530 before the end of March(wanted a 08 535 but the wait would be too long).
But if I lease a 530 with the crappy wheels they have to offer, would it be ok to install the M5 wheels during the lease? And what would I do with the old wheels?

I found the OME's on bmwwheels.com and they run about 500 a piece, pluse tires and install. I would bet the tires for these types of wheels are 300 easy, higher if you want run flats. Expect about 4K to do the whole project correctly and without issues.
Don't forget that M5 wheels are different than the BMW #166 wheels sold for the 530i.
The price for a nice setup of #166 19" wheels and tires should be around $2300. This price means that you bought the wheels at a discount and you bought tires like General Exclaims.
