Hi 520i, Porsche uses porcelain brakes. I think there is little or no brake dust.

Hi 530i, hahahaha, you are right. It is ceramic. I am jus thinking, it the brake pad is made of diamond, I would not mind collecting the brake dust.

The 525 base wheel is really ugly in person. So much so it almost made me not buy the car. Luckily we got a 530 for the same price as the 525, so we got the nicer wheels. It makes SUCH a difference in the look of the vehicle. The 525 wheel looks like it belongs on a GMC Envoy or some other such nonsense. It just isn't an attractive, well finished wheel. It's so sharp and unpolished on the edges.

I've got the Style 124 18" alloy with Run-Flat Tyres

The only problem is the cost of the tyres themselves!

I had a warning message today on my screen warning of a tyre puncture. A quick visit to the service centre resulted in the affected wheel (nail damage) being replace for a scary sum of ?302 (the wheel was ~?256)

Painful.. Very Painful!

On your type 124 Wheels, when they replaced the tyre, did you see if it was possible to replace the runflats with standard tyres.

Yes, it is fully possible to replace them with standard tyres.
