Hi All:

Does anyone know what the sport-package 05 545i wheels weigh? I am not sure if the sport-package wheels are "standard" across the board. I don't have a pic on my car's wheels, but they are like those of the car featured here:

marcsuri's 545i

And, does anyone know of any lighter (hopefully significantly lighter), but gorgeous, alternatives to those shown?

My Ride: Now Driving a Freakin' Prius! Was... 2004 545i | SMG | White/Black | Sport | NAV | Logic 7 | PDC | Fold-down Seats | Adaptive Headlights | Cold Weather Pkg | Clear-again Bra | Mud Flaps | Bluetooth | Coat Hangar | Aux Input | All Weather Mats | 18"X8.5" BBS RK w/ Michelin Pilot Alpin's (winter) | New steering rack @ 1.2K & 17K miles| Software V.19.1 | B&B Exhaust (vrrrroooooommm!) <---Click.

My winter setup is 18"x8.5: BBS RK's/ If I remember correctly they are around 18 lbs (check Tire Rack). I also think that they look good.

They look great; I like the white car too. Thank you very much realtyman. I assume that you do not know the weight of the stock wheels. If, yes, there is no need to confirm. Thanks again.

I don't remember the stock wheel weight (26-28 lbs maybe?) but I do know the BBS RK's are considerable lighter.

Thanks much. At this point, the RK's are at the top of my list.

I'm curious of the stock weight of the wheels too... Lonman we need weight info on our wheels page just like this!

http://www.mini2.com/forum/faq.php?faq=faq...wheel_tire_tech

P.S. I like our set up on E60... just add wheel weight.

I don't know how much the stock sport package wheels weigh, but I do know that BBS makes some of the lightest and strongest wheels out there. You can check out some aftermarket wheel weights at http://www.wheelweights.net/.

If it were me, I'd go with the BBS RG-R (they are OEM for the M3 CSL!)
