wheel sizing
im new to my 2006 550i.......i would like to add wheels and tires, it currently has 18" stock wheels, maybe from the sport package.
my question is this , i think i want to go bigger like 19" staggered, but there are not to many 19' wheel options, i would also consider 20"s but i do not ever want them to rub ,so those might be out of the question..does the road noise and ride quality suffer from 18" to 19" and then to 20" how much difference in the wheel well will i see from 18" to 19' thx to anyone that can take the time to help me out here....

same exact car as yours...enjoy it.
as for the rims, I switched to 19" but running 245/40 and 275/35 rear just because I want some meat on the wheels and it does fill the gap better unless you're planning to lower it. No rubbing it all.
GL with whatever you decide.

There are PLENTY of 19" wheel options. I went from 17" to 20" and noticed a big difference in ride quality. Going from 18" to 19" would be minimal. PM member acuteperformance or trinity_autosport for wheel choices.

Black, matte black, gunmetal, textured, silver, machined...it doesn't matter. While a lot of the wheels are silver, they can be had in different colors. Also check the Vendor Classifieds section.
ok, these are from a site vendor.....not familiar with the width and offset. can anyone tell me if i would have any rubbing issues with these and where the outside lip would be in relation to the outside edge of the fender? also a recommended tire sizes......THX

It's best to find an E60 owner in your area running on the wheel size you want so you can see and feel yourself.
