Lomag is correct. Just to make it official, here's the wheel torque page from TIS...

What is that in English? My torque wrench doesn't have metric.

Is there anything on the specs of the Rear End for the 545. There was a question a while back about limited slip.

Thanks. I was hoping someone with access to TIS could lookup the specs on the rearend differential and see if it is limited slip on the 545, or how TIS describes the type of differential.

I'm 99% sure there is no limited-slip differential on the E60 cars. The only E39 that had it was the M5.

TIS isn't telling me anything concrete either -- that might confirm what I'm saying above (or might not...)

I THINK that the E60 does NOT have a limited slip differential. BMW uses added brake pressure and engine rpms (torque) for slip counter bearance as far as I know. You can kind of test this yourself. Pick an empty parking lot, check your turning radius by driving in a left or right circle. The come to a stop. Turn the wheel to full left or full right and floor it and keep it floored for a complete circle. It will maintaion the same turning radius and not skid. With a LSD the turning radius should change.

I am not an automotive expert though.

That is pretty sad, with 325 horse it could use it. The new Caddy STS has limited slip as a $300 option. Thanks for checking TIS.
