Also if they have to realign it get them to set your rear camber to 1.5* it will save the inside of your rear tires.

A 1984 635 is much different than a late 2000 E60. Active Steering can play a big part when aligning. If your car is pulling it could be your tires. I thought my friend aligned the E46 incorrectly a bit but as it turns on I put OE wheels on it and it is true and straight! Reset your AS before pull it on the ramp, not sure what your setup is but if you select the 18" tires and have 19" it's better because I don't think they have 19" as an option to select. when they are done reset your active steering.

Having a lifetime warranty is great but having it aligned more than 2x within a year? I call that a waste of money and time. i would rather pay $300 and do it once correctly than have to make time for a car appointment and waste my day on it. If they cannot get it correct in the first two tries what makes you think they would get it correct on the 3rd, 4th or 5th time? Messing up once is one thing...twice is overkill but MAYBE acceptable depending on the situation....three times? DEFINITELY overkill

When I go I take my laptop and cable and check real-time stats LOL

Better to have the negative camber set that way. It's not too aggressive maybe a -1.2? Car handles better. Engineers knew it would outdo any other car on the corners in its class

Catching up on this post reminds me it's time for ANOTHER free alignment. It's been 2-3 months since the last. What I remember most is how smooth it cruises right after cuz your tires aint fighting one another. Our cars have excessive -ve camber wear on the rear so i always as the techs to get at close to zero as specs allow them (-1.7 to -2.3 is the range IIRC). Not all of them care but some will get -1.7 and thats the branch I'd revisit.

I don't have active steer, thank god. oh, I did make sure, and saw that he reset the steering angle sensor.
Do you guys think my rear camber is too much or is close to spec? What are you guys running on your rear camber? The tech and shop owner said it will corner better with those specs. What about my other numbers, how do they look to y'all? I'm going back Saturday morning. The owner to told he's going to switch around my front tires to see if that will correct the issue.

do you guys rotate your tires at all... i know with a staggered set up you cant go front to back, but can you have the tires removed from the wheel and switch left to right and vise verse?

Why would you want to do this?

The wear rate will be the same.

with the amount of camber on the rear tires, doesnt the inside of the tire wear out faster than the outer tread?
